About Yann Suhard

I’ve touched clay & a potter’s wheel for the first time in March 2022 with @laurentmullerstudio, and after 2 years and a burnout in between, I came back to it @firing_twice with hand building, then back at the wheel with @yfkedesign & @mx_ceramic. Since then I never stopped.

During spring 2025, I stepped into @vuurcollective to start throwing on my own for the very first time and little did I know, it would change everything to me and my practice as I discovered ash glazes with their founders . I’m forever grateful.

I could finally integrate my practice of using discarded materials and the sea that I love so much.

On October 2025, the team at @hetamsterdamskleibedrijf took me as a studio assistant & member, allowing me to continue experimenting.

Thank you to you all. I found something that keeps inspiring me and allows to says so much.
